It’s been 68 years since the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Today, we’re still faced with cleaning up nuclear waste from producing plutonium for bombing Nagasaki and our region houses the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the United States just 20 miles northwest of Seattle.
