Ebola fundraiser to build an orphanage for children
December 11, 2015 - 3:04 pm
On April 9, 2015 Pastor George Everett traveled to Liberia to do an assessment on the lives of the children who lost their parents during the Ebola crisis. Statistics put the entire region (Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia) up to 16,600 orphans. Liberia by itself has 4,500 of them scattered all over the Country.
Pastor Everett’s trip inspired him to do something to help the children left without parents because of the Ebola crisis. With the help of several local organizations and individuals, Everett hopes to build an orphanage. Sonya Green interviewed George about his efforts.
