Seattle activists have recently had success in redirecting local funding toward services like affordable housing and education. One of those successes came about last fall, when the building of a new police station was halted in a movement known as Block the Bunker. KBCS’s Jim Cantu spoke with Melissa Hellmann from YES! Magazine about that movement.
