The Kubota Garden Foundation will host a butoh dance event on Sunday, July 28th. During this event, garden visitors will find dancers and musicians performing spontaneously in various garden locations, responding to the scents, sounds, sights, and sensations around them.
The Bellevue Downtown Association will host a free music concert on Tuesday, August 6th at The Spring District. This concert will feature the americana/bluegrass band, Great American Trainwreck, who are known for their melodic riffs and exquisite harmonies.

The University of Washington Botanic Gardens will host a nature restoration event on Wednesday, August 7th at the Union Bay Natural Area. Volunteers will work with horticulturalists to remove blackberry and other invasives in the area.

Green Seattle Partnership will host a nature restoration event on Saturday, August 17th at Carkeek Park in Northgate. Volunteers will work with GSP staff to maintain trails and park walkways.

Brasilfest will host a Brazilian Cultural Festival on Sunday, August 18th at the Seattle Center. This free community event will feature live music, food, music and dance workshops, and cooking demonstrations to help attendees learn more about Brazilian arts and traditions.
The Seward Park Audubon center will host a volunteer wildlife conservation event on Wednesday, August 21st. Volunteers learn more about the Bat Activity Trends program and assist program leaders in collecting data for the program.
