Concert Club drawing rules
Official Contest Rules
Eligibility
No contribution or purchase is required to enter or win. A contribution or purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified from the drawing.
This contest is open to all adults, 18 and over who are residents in the state of Washington. Employees and active volunteers of KBCS, employees of Bellevue College, and their respective household or immediate family members, are not eligible to enter. Compliance with the eligibility requirements will be determined solely by KBCS. All Federal, State and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
Entries
KBCS “Concert Club” members are automatically entered in the monthly Concert Club drawing. Concert Club members are active donors to KBCS at the annual $360 level, $30/month, or greater.
Concert Club membership is not required to enter the monthly drawing.
One-time entries are accepted between the 1st and 10th of the contest month, online at http://kbcs.fm/concertclub, or via phone by calling 425-564-5000 during normal business hours. Contest entrants must have a valid phone number, mailing address and email address. Limit of one (1) entry per person.
KBCS assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, damages, delayed computer transactions or network connections, whether human, technical or otherwise in nature, in conjunction with this contest, participation or in connection with any prize acceptance. KBCS, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the website or who is otherwise in violation of the Official Rules. Entrants agree KBCS has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this contest and that its decision is final and binding.
Determination and Awarding of Prizes
KBCS will select one Concert Club prize winner between the 11th and the 15th of the contest month.
The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email. Any prize not timely accepted by the winner will, in KBCS’s sole discretion, be awarded to an alternate winner. If a prize notification e-mail or any prize is returned to KBCS or its designated agent as undeliverable, that prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.
Winner must confirm their acceptance of the prize by the date provided in the prize notification; otherwise, the prize will be forfeited. The prize is guaranteed to be awarded except if forfeited by a prize winner or in the event that KBCS ceases operation, or for some other reason is unable to fulfill the prize after a diligent effort is made. In such circumstances KBCS assumes no responsibility (monetary or otherwise) to fulfill the prize. Prizes are not redeemable for cash, exchangeable, or transferable. All taxes on prizes, including but not limited to Federal, State and local income and sales taxes, are the responsibility of the winners.
Prizes
PRIZES: One (1) prize winner will receive a selection of complimentary concert tickets to be determined by KBCS. The prize may include a mix of physical tickets, vouchers representing tickets held at will call, or guests list spots to be claimed at will call.
To obtain the Prize, the winning entrant must provide proof of the correctness of entrant’s information on the entry form and compliance with the terms and conditions contained in the Official Rules by signing an Affidavit of Eligibility, release of publicity and release of liability and return the executed documents to KBCS.
Complimentary concert admission is subject to the rules, policies and procedures of the individual concert venue. A photo I.D. may be required to gain admission to a concert. Seating arrangements, if applicable, are determined by the venue. The retail price of admission is determined by the contracted promoter of the concert.
The prize has no cash value. KBCS bears no responsibility for the cancellation or rescheduling of any concert, for any reason.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received.
Release and Indemnification
Entry constitutes permission for KBCS (except where prohibited by law) to use winner’s name, area of residence, and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation. By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by the contest rules and further agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless KBCS, its licensee, affiliates, successors and funders, and their respective directors, officers and employees from and against all actions, causes of actions and liability, including attorney’s fees and costs, arising out of or relating to participation in the contest and receipt and use or misuse of the prize awarded.
