KBCS schedule changes

What is the new Sunday evening schedule?

7am       Backtracks with Kevin Rodgers & Andrew Stauffer [Grateful Dead, jam bands]

9pm       Mike Vernon [’70s]

11pm      Flotation Device with John Seman [experimental]

Why is KBCS making changes to its weekday schedule?

To nurture new listeners, focus on home grown talent, and be fiscally responsible.

What informed this decision?

The station mission. In-house KBCS listener surveys, donor support, and audience data from the Nielsen folks, studied over a five year period.

Why not leave things alone?

Like all mission-driven organizations, KBCS needs to constantly adapt and improve.

What happened to Grateful Dead Hour?

We no longer carry the Oakland, CA-based show.

I love this. How do I spread the word?

Social media is a great way to show your support. We appreciate it!

An encouraging email is always welcome.

There are lots of other ways to show support for KBCS, as well. Thank you.

I’m disappointed. Who can I talk to about my concerns?

Your feedback is important to us. If you have questions or concerns about the new schedule changes, contact Patrick (programming). If you would like to discuss your sustaining gift to KBCS, contact Ben (membership). Address overall concerns about KBCS to our General Manager, Dana.
