About Cat Country
Cat Country musical Seattle tells the story of Grace, a Chinese-American woman navigating a racist and sexist corporate world in the 1980s — a world run by ex-combatants of Asian wars. Grace uses a cat's paw strategy with her white mentor Robert to climb the ladder. Meanwhile her marriage to Sig-mon unravels as his law career collapses through his alliance with Tommy Shaw, a Chinese-American former fund manager now vilified by Wall Street. Sig-mon's mother has lung cancer and her urgency for a grandson grows. And the CEO heir apparent Rambo Jack has his sights set on Grace.
How can Grace grapple with love and war and win?
