About the Artists
Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio
Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio — known as DLO3 — specializes in what they call the lost art of feel-good music. Their sound draws from the 1960s organ jazz of Jimmy Smith and Baby Face Willette, the soul strut of Booker T. and the MGs and The Meters, and sprinkles of Motown, Stax Records, blues, and cosmic Jimi Hendrix-style guitar. Live, the band’s fiery and intuitive chemistry overflows with improvisation, instant composition, and a booty-shaking back catalog of soulful gems.
Since forming in 2015, DLO3 has released several Billboard-charting albums, toured nationally and internationally, and performed at Upstream Music Festival in a KEXP broadcast that earned over 15 million views. Delvon Lamarr recently earned Rising Star Critics' Choice for Organist of the Year in the 70th Annual Downbeat Critics Poll.
