The Bushwick Book Club Seattle brings Hannah Templer's graphic novel Cosmoknights to life through original music on Saturday, June 13th at Hugo House. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show runs until 10:00pm.
About the Show
Suit up. In Cosmoknights, jousting isn't just for knights in shining armor. It's for queer rebels in mech suits dismantling the patriarchy one tournament at a time. Pan thought her world was small. It turns out it's galactic, gritty, and full of laser-scorched possibility. Come for the armor. Stay for the found family, the gay crushes, and the radical acts of empathy.
The Bushwick Book Club Seattle performs original songs written in direct response to the book. This is their signature format — live music meets literature in one surprising, powerful evening.
Please note that Cosmoknights contains themes of violence, sexism, classism, misogyny, police brutality, kidnapping, and colonization. A full digital program will be available at the door.
