Tax day is right around the corner and United Way King County offers free help preparing taxes to qualified residents. They also offer assistance with tax credits such as Earned Income Credit, Child Tax Credit, and the Working Families Tax Credit to maximize refunds. Appointments are available at locations around the area on Fridays in March. Assistance is available in-person and virtual in up to seven languages. Find out more at United Way King County. 

Seattle King County Clinic is offering free health care from April 23-26 at Seattle Center. Dental, vision, and medical care are available at no charge. The clinic is for people in need struggling with access to healthcare. No appointment needed – tickets are given out at 5:30am on a first come, first served basis at Fisher Pavilion located at 200 Thomas Street in Seattle. No ID or proof of insurance, income or immigration status. Interpreters are available.  You can learn more at SeattleCenter.org.

Since 1970, environmental stewards have been celebrating Earth day! Keep the tradition going in 2026 by finding an Earth Day event near you. Washington State Parks are offering free parking on April 22 – no Discover Pass needed! You can get out to more than 350 recreation sites in the state to hike, explore, and spend time outdoors!
