Hopelink Mobile Market

Hopelink Mobile Market is rolling around east King County and provides seasonal produce and shelf stable foods. The market opens its doors on Tuesdays through Thursdays in Bellevue and Mercer Island, Woodinville and Redmond and up to Bothell and Kenmore. Groceries are available at no cost to enrolled food clients. You can find the calendar at Hopelink.org. Remember to bring a reusable bag!

Rainbow Elder Play & Connect

Join LGBTQ+ older adults for board games, conversation, and community. Every third Saturday afternoon, the Crossroads Community Center hosts Rainbow Elder Play & Connect. The next gathering is May 16 from 12-2. Games like Banagrams, Uno, and Cribbage have been hits, but feel free to bring your own game! For more info check out Pride Across the Bridge.

Ai Weiwei’s Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads

Stroll through the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park to see Ai Weiwei’s Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads. There are 12 sculptures each over 10 feet tall and more than 1500 pounds. The animals are positioned in order of the Zodiac cycle starting with the rat and ending with the boar. The installation is new to Seattle this spring and will be up through 2027. Find out more at Seattle Art Museum.
