Renton Career Fair
If you’re looking for job opportunities, drop by the Renton Career Fair. More than 60 employers will be recruiting and interviewing at the event. Day 1 is Wednesday, May 20th featuring all employers except healthcare. Day 2 is Thursday, May 21st which is focused on the healthcare industry. Representatives from business, childcare, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and transportation will be on site. The free fair runs 3-6pm both days and includes free parking at Renton Technical College.
Senior Clothing Swap
Dig out your old clothing, shoes, and accessories for the City of Issaquah Senior Clothing Swap. Donations accepted through May 15 at the Issaquah Senior Center. Shop the swap on Friday, May 22nd from 9-1pm. The event is free and open to all seniors!
Electronics Repair
If you have broken electronics, bring them to the Electronics Mending Circle at Bellevue Library. On Thursday, May 21st from 4:30-5:30pm staff at the library’s Makerspace will be on hand with tools and supplies to help get your items working again. Here are some things you can bring: lamps, electric clocks, headphones, and electronic toys. This is event is for ages 13 and older. The Electronic Mending Circle will run on the first and third Thursday in June too.
