Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Summit
May is Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander month. The Seattle Public Library is hosting a summit to elevate leadership, strengthen belonging, and amplify the community’s impact. The full day event runs from 8am to 6pm on Wednesday, May 27th at Seattle’s Central Library. Through sessions, storytelling, and discussions, attendees will connect with leaders, educators, creatives, and community builders within the AANHPI community.
Park Cleanup at Juanita Bay
Help cleanup Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland with a team of volunteers on Saturday, May 30 from 10-12. Green Kirkland will remove invasive plants such as blackberry or ivy, plant native plants, and help out with mulching and weeding. Staff provide training and tools at the habitat stewardship event. All experience levels and ages are welcome and come rain or shine. Events run on most Saturdays throughout the summer. You can register on the Green Kirkland calendar page.
Utility Bill Assistance

Both long-term and short-term plans are available. The program offers a guide to household income to determine eligibility.
