Election 2018 – Initiative 1639 on Gun Control

We kick off the KBCS Elections 2018 coverage with a look at both sides of Initiative 1639 on gun control. KBCS’s Gregg Selby spoke with Tallman Trask, spokesperson from the Alliance for Gun Responsibility (the organization for who is supporting Initiative 1639) and Brett Bass, firearms instructor and spokesperson for the Save our Security – No on 1639 campaign.

March For Our Lives – Seattle

In the wake of the Parkland school shooting–and more than 190 other school shootings since Columbine–people took to the streets on Saturday to call for gun control.

Seattle high schoolers organized a local event to take place in conjunction with the Washington  D.C. march.

The Seattle march was one of more than 800 held world wide.

KBCS’s Angie Voyles Askham brings you some voices and sounds from the event.
