King County responds to racial disparities in the juvenile justice system
Community organizers continue to voice their opposition to the youth detention center proposed to replace the existing one despite King County’s plans to move forward. Organizers say it’s not just about a building, it’s about the racial inequity of the prison system. On Tuesday, King County Executive Dow Constantine announced measures to address racial disparity in the juvenile justice system.
