Spokane Wildfire Relief for Livestock and Pets

 
Humane Evacuation Animal Rescue Team (HEART) is one of a number of organizations in the Spokane Valley busy in sheltering and offering care to displaced livestock and pets from the wildfire. 
 
Listen in on this highlight of the organization with Marian Ortiz, HEART President and Mike Hause, HEART volunteer.

Volunteer with KBCS

The 91.3 KBCS Fall Fund Drive begins this Friday (9/6) .

Help make the fund drive a success and learn about your local community radio station by volunteering to answer donation phone calls from KBCS supporters during our  fund drive. No previous experience is needed to volunteer, and this event is open to the public

Volunteer shifts range from 2-4 hours in length and each shift requires 3-4 volunteers. KBCS will provide a short training for volunteers upon arrival and no prior experience is necessary.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided, so please bring your appetite!
