Grateful Hearts: Thanksgiving Wishes from your friends at KBCS
November 26, 2024 - 11:13 pm
Dear KBCS Friends and Supporters,
As many of us gather with our friends and loved ones this Thanksgiving, our hearts are filled with gratitude for loyal supporters like you. Your dedication, generosity, and support for Community Radio KBCS have kept this iconic Pacific Northwest cultural tradition on the air for over 50 years. With your continued support, we plan on another fifty years of eclectic, locally hosted music, progressive news, talk, and educational programming. The great diversity in our programming is our hallmark and reflects the unique ethos of life here in our beautiful corner of the world.
Let’s continue spreading hope, compassion, inclusiveness, and kindness this holiday season across the public airwaves and streamed live online worldwide. At the onset of this holiday season, we invite you to make an even more significant impact by making a generous year-end donation to keep this longstanding community radio cultural tradition on the air.
This coming new year promises an even more difficult challenge for the survival of nonprofit public radio stations like KBCS. Now more than ever, we need your financial and moral support as we collectively roll up our sleeves, prepare to support each other, and stand by our shared mission. A longstanding mission of advocating for free speech, freedom of creative expression, and the never-ending search for empirical truth.
From all of us at Community Radio KBCS, we wish you and your family a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Thank you for being part of our extended family and for believing in the power of democracy and noncommercial educational radio.
