Weather affecting KBCS Broadcast: BACK ON!

The KBCS Broadcast experienced a critical power outage during last week’s Bomb Cyclone and storm.  Yesterday, about 6pm we received word full power was regained at our transmitter on Cougar Mountain!! 

Full power was regained at the station Monday reconnecting our higher quality streaming broadcast. 

We are very grateful and thankful for all the people involved in supporting KBCS and the Bellevue College campus during this outage.   Immense gratitude sent our Chief Engineer and the crew of individuals getting to Cougar Mountain, clearing downed trees and much tree debris, forging the path to regain power and fuel to the generators at this shared main transmission tower!
