July 9, 2025(1 event) 8:00 pm: KBCS Presents: The SteelDrivers ![]() What began as a casual jam session over a decade ago has become one of today’s leaders in the Americana/Bluegrass music world. July 24, 2025(2 events) 8:00 pm: KBCS Presents: Adira Sharkey, Zach Bryson & Marina Madden Adira Sharkey blends percussive acoustic instrumentation with rhythmic vocal arrangements for a unique spin on Americana songwriting. Her unusually low vocal range lends itself perfectly to her raw, unfiltered storytelling, where her lyrics take audiences to the darker side of love and longing. Often joined by an upright bass player, her songwriting style is complemented with traditional roots music accompaniment, delivering a punchy outlaw country sound. She’s been described as "a time traveler from the dust bowl" with a "bluesy folk" feel, having picked up folk melodies and finger-picking tricks from friends across the West. Her forthcoming debut album evokes a genre melting blend of Tom Waits and Patsy Cline, with a pinch of Ani DiFranco. Zach Bryson writes songs and sings them wherever people will let him and the Greyhound will take him. Currently residing in Nashville, TN he enjoys playing music and writing about himself, in the third person.” Conor Byrne Pub 8:00 pm: KBCS Presents: Shinyribs w/ guests ![]() Tractor Tavern |
