Kevin Henry

KBCS volunteer, Kevin P. Henry, is a veteran print and broadcast journalist with more than 40 years of experience covering cultural affairs, entertainment and social justice. His journalism career includes extensive work in the Los Angeles and Seattle media markets. Throughout his career, Kevin has focused on amplifying diverse voices, examining critical social issues and building strong community connections.

Kevin has produced and hosted programs on KBCS, including the cultural-affairs talk show Voices of Diversity and the music program Living the Blues. From 1994 to 2015, he managed the City of Bellevue’s Diversity Advantage Program. He currently works as a behavioral health education specialist and freelance writer. Kevin also produces Thinking Out Loud, a series of social commentaries exploring race, culture, history, mental health and contemporary life.
