Racial and inter-generational trauma can be destructive to the body, mind, and spirit. A person of color may wonder why they’re triggered when they watch racially-based, television stories, see a police car in the rearview mirror or a Confederate flag on the back of a truck. KBCS’s Kevin P. Henry interviews Estilla Lighfoot, who teaches courses on this topic at Tulane University in New Orleans.
