Juneteenth Celebrations

The Northwest African American Museum is hosting a Juneteenth celebration with local artists, family activities, vendors, and performances from a historical perspective by Living Voices. The event runs from 10-5 on June 19th. You can find more Juneteenth activities and live music outside the museum at the Jimi Hendrix Park from 12 to 8pm.

World Cup Watch Parties

Seattle is buzzing with World Cup activity and there are venues around the city to watch matches for free. Pier 62 at the waterfront has live viewings on a giant screen with food trucks and activities. Seattle Center is hosting watch parties indoors at the Armory and outdoors at the mural amphitheater during the competition. Pacific Place shopping center is being transformed into Seattle Soccer House with the city’s largest screen creating a four-level viewing experience. And Victory Hall in SODO will be showing all the matches and is free and open to the public.

VegFest 2026

Get ready to veg out! Redmond is hosting VegFest 2026, a vegan, vegetarian, and raw food festival. Watch cooking demos, learn about plant-based nutrition and try new vegetarian options. There will be live music, dance, and cultural performances, as well as the chance to join a Zumba, martial arts, or yoga class. VegFest will run from 10-8pm on June 20th at Redmond Downtown Park.
