Early Tuesday morning, January 1st, much-loved KBCS family member, Sandy Macdonald, passed away unexpectedly. Sandy grew up in Seattle an avid music fan of both folk and rock and roll. KBCS is partnering with OSL (formerly Operation Sack Lunch), for a one-day fund drive on December 12th. Donate to KBCS by December 12th, and you’ll have the option to provide a meal to a neighbor in need instead of selecting a KBCS thank you gift, and of course, your year-end contribution will support the programs

On Sunday morning, beloved DJ Samia Panni passed away suddenly. Samia exemplified KBCS at its very best. All of us at the station are heartbroken, and offer our deepest condolences to her family, friends and communities.
